My name is Darcie and I am a long time Yogi, Educator, Teacher, Author and Artist. My whole life I have been in search for ways to calm the nervous system, rejuvenate the whole self and CHANGE! Practices that allow for rest and revitalization but also work deeply with manifesting goals, dreams and visions. A ritual to have when you just need a reset and also a tool to help rewire the brain towards positivity and healing. I am here to share with you the magic of Yoga Nidra!
Yoga Nidra is a meditation exercise that trains the brain to focus and pay attention. We will be moving through the different layers of consciousness and through the different brain states from active state (Beta) all the way to Theta (where true healing happens)!
All you do is relax in a comfortable and safe place and open the inner ears. Science tells us that theta brain state is a place we can activate the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is where all our old habits, beliefs and memories live. It is WHY sometimes we can not change when we try EVERYTHING! We are literally hard-wired to default. We in a sense self-sabatoge our own selves from really receiving what we want in our life.
How Does This Work?
Through intention-setting during the Yoga Nidra meditation, you CAN rewire the brain. The power of the intention (in the THETA STATE) will make an imprint on your psyche and replace the old beliefs and untruths with long lasting positive change! Your brain gets a total re-wire!
