Creating a safe and brave space for our youth is so important. Ms. Darcie and Ms. Julia guide young girls through a self-empowerment day of mindful movements, yoga, breath-work, dance, intention setting, and art therapy. Our Mermaid Spa time teaches about the importance of using natural ingredients not only for our skin but for the Earth. Each session the girls will learn new homemade self-care remedies to nourish the heart and soul. Girls will learn how to create sacred space through different modalities such as making an altar, energy and breath work, self-regulation techniques and reconnecting with the power of the Earth. The art of meditation will be introduced through sound healing and Yoga Nidra. We will close our day with a wisdom circle to share our thoughts and feelings about growing up in this day and age. Each session will have a theme and an opportunity to learn more about ourselves, each other, and the Earth. A delicious and healthy lunch will be provided. This is an incredible opportunity to empower our future female leaders of tomorrow and give them resources to move through this life with confidence, connection and resilience.

Teen Yoga Empowerment Class is designed to inspire and empower the student through creating a safe and brave space to BE, express, breathe, and move. Ultimately, Darcie will be providing a sense of belonging for every participant.
For most, young adulthood is an awkward, stressful time. This class is a place where the student can be part of a community that is specific to them. Here, students will learn fundamental yoga postures to move energy and feel more embodied in a supportive and non-competitive environment while gaining flexibility, strength and focus. This class is designed to build self-esteem and confidence through yogic techniques and self-regulation resources to reduce stress and tension. Classes will explore themes such as body image, choosing positive thoughts and actions, dealing with peer pressure, making good choices, healthy coping strategies, nutrition, meditation and ultimately, how to LOVE ourselves unconditionally through self-care and self-respect. This is an 8-week curriculum to self-empowerment!

Youth Yoga Classes are designed to increase children’s self-esteem, body/mind awareness, coordination, patience and concentration. Children will learn how to warm up their bodies properly and safely with mindful movements that emphasize correct breathing, focus, intention, flexibility and strength. Children will experience many different styles of yoga and somatic movements that will further self-expression and creativity. Meditation, mindfulness, yoga philosophy, conscious leadership, positive attitude, discovering who we are, learning self-care measures, finding empathy, fostering unconditional love will all be themes throughout this curriculum. Youth yoga classes will help with stress reduction, enhance your child's overall performance in school, sports, extracurricular activities and life. Come experience a fun and active class that will center your child and give them the tools to move through life with confidence and ease!
